One notable feature of the terminal is its ability to enable cruise ships to connect to shore power, allowing them to power down their engines while at the dock. Situated adjacent to Royal Caribbean's Terminal A, it will be the final terminal encountered by cruise ships as they embark on their sea voyages. The ambitious US$350 million project broke ground in March, originally aiming for completion in 2023-Q4. Once finished, it will have the capacity to handle up to three ships simultaneously, including MSC's WORLD-class vessels - the second-largest globally, surpassed only by Royal Caribbean's OASIS-class.
